Our Mission
To serve today's youth in Chrisian development.
Our Statement of Faith
As stated in our Articles of Incorporation and the By-laws that governs our board, the purpose of Midwest Bible Camp is to provide for the youth of Iowa and the surrounding area, no matter what their religious experience is, a program of concentrated religious education and training, together with a recreational program in order to help in the development of the camper spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically through Bible teaching and a Christian camping experience.
The program is run by members of the churches of Christ from Iowa and
surrounding areas as well as from as far away as Australia. All staff
are members of the church and firm believers in Jesus Christ, which means
that they have followed the plan of salvation as outlined in the Bible;
(I) They believe that Jesus is the Son of God,
(2) They have repented of his sins,
(3) They have publicly confessed his faith,
(4) They have been immersed for remission of their sins.
We firmly hold that Jesus died for our sins, that He is alive and active
in our lives now and that He is coming back to claim His own. We also
firmly believe that the Bible is the literal word of God, protected by
the Holy Spirit from ages past.
We also feel that the Scriptures speak for themselves. We will not try
to force our views onto any camper, but will let the Bible speak. We are
not in the business to baptize everyone that comes to camp, but we will
present the opportunity if and when the camper, with there guardian's
consent, feels the need to give their life to Christ.
